삼일회계법인에서 공인회계사로 근무하였으며, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid 및 인하대학교에서 교수로 재직하였습니다. Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, European Accounting Review 및 Journal of Management Accounting Research 등 다수의 해외 저널에 연구를 게재하였습니다. 현재는 한국회계기준원의 연구조직인 한국회계연구원에서 연구업무를 총괄하는 연구센터장을 맡고 있습니다. 국제회계기준(IFRS)의 제개정이 정보이용자에게 미치는 영향에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
Dr. Hyungjin Cho is a distinguished accounting scholar and researcher who brings extensive professional and academic experience to his role. He previously worked as a Certified Public Accountant at Samil PwC, one of Korea's leading accounting firms, before transitioning to academia.
His academic career has spanned prestigious institutions both domestically and internationally. He has served as a faculty member at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain and Inha University in Korea, where he developed expertise in international accounting standards and financial reporting.
Dr. Hyungjin Cho has established himself as a prolific researcher with publications in top-tier international journals, including the Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, European Accounting Review, and Journal of Management Accounting Research. His research contributions have enhanced understanding of accounting practices and their impact on various stakeholders.
Currently, he serves as Research Center Director at the Korea Accounting Institute, the research arm of the Korea Accounting Standards Board, where he oversees comprehensive research initiatives. His current research focuses on examining how revisions to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) affect information users, contributing valuable insights to the global accounting community.
